We Conquered Boracay!

BORACAY 2013

Famous for its White, Talcum-fine Sand...

Last July 31, 2013, a dream come true travel destination happened! Yey!
Welcome to...... BORACAY!!!

I traveled together with my boyfriend, my best friend and her husband. My boyfriend and I got the chance to buy a promo ticket in Tigerairways (SEAIR) last February 2013. Piso fair yun and it only costs me Php 304 for two persons from Clark to Kalibo and back to Clark. Super cheap right?!  Lucky us!
In Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA-Clark), we paid Php 150 each for the Terminal Fee.

Our departure from Clark is 3:40 Pm and we arrived in Kalibo International Airport at 4:35pm. Because it's our first time in Boracay, we ask our hotel to arrange for us our airport transfer from Kalibo to Bamboo Beach Resort. Price: Php 1,250 for the two of us. Here is our bus:
From Kalibo International Airport, we traveled 2 hours going to Caticlan Jetty Port. Upon Arriving in Caticlan, nag-change kami ng Bus and we  transferred to their shuttle, di kasi maganda ung panahon, malakas ang hangin kaya maalon, so instead of coming from Caticlan Jetty Port, pumunta kami ng Tabon Port para makarating sa Boracay mas malapit daw kasi ang distance nito compared to jetty port.
We left Tabon Port 7:00pm and we arrive in Boracay Island at 7:10 pm.
Then Finally, Welcome to Boracay na talaga!
Pagbaba ng Boracay Island, Island Star Express have shuttles that drops us off in La Carmela de Boracay in Station 3, from there we walk na going to our hotel - Bamboo Beach Resort and Restaurant. (Hotel Price: Php 3,150 for Premier Suite Room good for 3D/2N for 2pax. We got this deal from www.booking.com)

The next day, me and my boyfriend had an early morning walk to see the beauty of Boracay. And it's really a breathtaking beautiful place! The turquoise water and the fine powdery sand in station 1 is unforgettable!

While walking, sa labas ng hotel, there's a lot of people that will approach you and will offer different water activities. For php 1000/pax, the four of us get to experience 4 different water activities.  Nag- tricycle kami and we went to Bulabog Beach, which is in the other side of the island. nag start kami by trying the "Helmet Diving", then Island Hopping with Snorkeling, FlyFish and ATV. nag start kami ng 9:00 am and we finished all the activities by 2:30 pm.
"Helmet Diving"

"Island Hopping with Snorkeling"

"FlyFish"

"ATV"
My favorite among those 4 activities, 'FlyFish'. ♥ But overall, it was REALLY FUN!
Yung guide namin sa activities told us na ang start ng water activities in Bulabog beach is 8:00 am. So if you like to do some water activities, start din kayo ng maaga. At least may time pa to explore the Island.

After all the activities, we ate our lunch in Andoks and walk again papunta naman sa Willy's Rock.

Willy's Rock is located in Station 1.

Now I know kung bakit mahal ang accommodation in Station 1, kasi this is where hindi masyadong maalon and super fine and white ang sand compared to other stations.

Sa sobrang pagod sa paglalakad at init, we spotted Jonah's Fruitshake. Price check: Php 110 for their best seller "Banana Choco Peanut". and right outside Jonah's, we tried "Chori Burger" - Price: Php 45! I want more Chori Burger!!! Really delish! ♥♥♥

At night, we just tried Deco's. My besfriend tried their La Paz batchoy. It's ok but not the thing that you would want to ask for more.

Our 3rd and last day in Boracay, we just bought pasalubongs. My tip is to walk early in the morning and spot for the tinderas on the side walks. You get to have discount or have additional item pag ikaw ang "Buena Mano" nila.
And I also found this cheaper 'tiangge' beside Victory Divers Bar and Restaurant. Items here is really cheaper than in D Mall.

Time to go home!
We left our hotel at 11:30 am.
Arrived in Caticlan jetty Port at 12:00 nn
Van to Kalibo Airport: 12:30 - 2:00pm ( 1 1/2 travel time)

Here's our fare going back to Kalibo International Airport.
Tricycle from station 3 to Boracay Port: Php 100 ( apat na kaming sakay nun)
CBTMPC Land Transportation (Van plus Boat Ride): Php 200/pax
Boracay Port Terminal Fee: Php 100/pax
Kalibo International Airport Terminal Fee: Php 100/pax

Will surely comeback to this beautiful island!
See you again soon Boracay!

  1. I guess, Boracay resorts in station 1 are a little bit costly is because of the place being tranquil, quite and peaceful compare to station 2 and 3 where most of the crowd are located.
